Eng, who lives in Vermont, was born, raised and educated in Singapore. She has also lived in Thailand before moving to the U.S. Europe, Asia and the U.S. have inspired many of her works. She has worked as a freelance artist and a textile designer.
In the adjacent Open Wall room, see the Student Art Show of work from all of the Springfield Schools. Paintings, portraits, prints, until the end of February.
read lessRenowned watercolorist, Robert O'Brien, will introduce glazing techniques and layering of the subtle tints of snow. Value, composition and painting light and shadow will be emphasized. You will work from a photo reference that you bring and learn to create a finished painting with guidance provided by Rob.
Open to all levels with some watercolor experience suggested.
