Learn the best pruning techniques and test your skills in our Crabapple Collection with our Crabapple Curator "Coyote" Mark Biercevicz. Bring loppers and any other pruners you may have. Presenter's Bio: "Coyote" Mark Biercevicz is a retired biologist with extensive field biology experience. He has worked for Federal, State, and Local governments, has spent time with local environmental consulting firms and has done stints with the UVM Horticultural Research Center and UVM Biology Departments.

THE FUNGI OF VERMONT, Saturday, March 30, 10-11:30 (online)
Join Naturalist & Educator Dave Muska for a presentation on the diverse and fascinating world of fungi. He will discuss the fungi found within New England's bioregions, their ecological roles, their uses, and importance. You will also learn how to contribute to the state's growing effort to catalogue and record observations through the "Fungi of VT Community Science Initiative". EMG-E

Presenter's bio: Dave Muska is a naturalist and educator with the North Branch Nature Center and founder of Ondatra Adventures, a business devoted to providing connections to the natural world through Guided Excursions, Naturalist Study, and Wilderness Living Skills. He studied Environmental Biology at the College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY, and he now serves on the leadership council of the State of Vermont Fungal Scientific Advisory Group.
This program will be presented on Zoom.
