The Battle Day 5k takes place on Saturday, August 13th race start is 8:30 AM
Reenactors on site starting Friday afternoon, all day Saturday and Sunday
Cannon fire will be limited to 11:45 AM, 2:30 PM, and again between 3 and 4 Saturday. Sunday at 11:00 AM and again at 2:00 PM

Phyllis Chapman of Vintage Visitors portrays 'Dr. Mary Walker', a New York woman who trained as a doctor, and engaged in her own fight to practice as one in the service of her country. She will relate the stories and dees of other women, ordinary and extraordinary, who found themselves in the middle of terrible civic strife, and made their important and varied contributions 'For the Cause', Phyllis will present a costumed portrayal of Dr. Walker, with audio-visuals and artifacts supporting the Program.

The Bennington Battle Monument opens for season on Saturday May 28. Hours are 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM every day except Wednesday until October 31st.
The illumination for Ukraine has been extended until July.
