High Octave Living courses are offered through Center for Arts & Learning, Montpelier and on Zoom.

High Octave Living is an 8-week workshop blending mindfulness practice with character strengths work. 24 universally recognized strengths are introduced which represent the best in humanity and in each of us. An individual discovers which strengths come most naturally to them, while also learning simple time-honored mindfulness techniques. This blend of insights and practices can then be integrated into daily life.

Engaging in this work can lead an individual to greater self-understanding, a more peaceful outlook, better managing of problems, and a greater sense of purpose and meaning.

Werner John, instructor and facilitator of the High Octave Living workshop is a long-term meditator and student of the human condition who is glad to bring this important work to the central Vermont community. He is also a flute player, so mindfulness sessions may include live music.
