The Ethan Allen Homestead Museum (EAHM), created by a dedicated group of volunteers in 1985, is an incorporated 501(c)(3) non-profit. The Museum operation includes the Ethan Allen Homestead building, the restored home of Ethan and Fanny Allen, now open for public tours, and the Hill/Brownell Educational Center, featuring museum space, classrooms, a gift shop, small offices, and “Tavern” event space. The Ethan Allen Homestead Museum is located in the Ethan Allen Homestead Park, a 294-acre public park on the Winooski River that is owned by the Winooski Valley Park District.

Bring your father to the Ethan Allen Homestead Museum Sunday Lecture Series on Father's Day! Hear about, "The Founding Fathers of the Homestead Museum: How Ethan Allen's Home was Rediscovered" by guest lecturer Tom Anderson.

Tom Anderson was one of a small group of visionaries who worked with Ralph Nading Hill to develop the Homestead Park & Museum as it exists today. Tom will share stories of those early days and how they rediscovered & restored the 1787 home of Vermont founder & Revolutionary War leader Ethan Allen. The talk will be held outside on the back patio. Admission to the talk is free; however, donations are appreciated.
