Often during pregnancy, your care provider team just doesn't have enough time to discuss all of the changes that can occur in your body and how to prepare yourself appropriately for the changes.
During the sessions, we will discuss the role of your pelvic floor and core and how to make sure they have the right length and strength for delivery. We will discuss posture, alignment, breathing, and how to move appropriately to prevent injury or pain. We will discuss delivery, what to expect and how to best be prepared in your body. And any other questions that my be unanswered! By being better prepared during pregnancy, you can improve your pelvic floor and deep core control and prevent pain and dysfunction in the postpartum time. The stronger and more informed you go into the delivery, the better outcomes you tend to have on the other side!
