Eaton Hill Upholstery is the studio of Ellen Blachly, located at 147 Mack's Mountain Road in Peacham. Ellen's background is as a tailor and pattern-maker. She apprenticed to the upholstery trade, and earned a Master's Degree in Furniture Restoration, Conservation, and Decorative Arts in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, UK. As a complement to upholstery she has training in furniture restoration and conservation, and documentation. Ellen's work includes projects for private clients, and institutions. In 2014, she became the upholsterer to the Vermont Statehouse.
