The Charter House Coalition, Addison County's only 24-hour emergency homeless shelter is looking to hire 1-2 persons to join our amazing team of shelter staff. The primary responsibility of this compassionate group is to maintain a safe and consistent environment for our guests and to help build a trusting rapport with those we serve, not only through our shelter, but also through our community food program and social services, which involve many within our greater community.

Shelter staff members oversee our day-to-day programs. This may include monitoring guest activity, completing wellness checks, guiding cleaning routines, schedules, and involvement with enrichment activities. This is a direct services role that concentrates on ensuring the safety, well-being, and harmony within the house. Light on administrative tasks and perfect for those that prefer using their people and organizational skills. This is not a case management role.
