Celeste Massage Therapy and Fascial Counterstrain

When I do restorative massage I combine myofascial work with Swedish massage in an individualized whole body treatment (back, legs, feet, arms, hands and neck). I bring deep respect for each person who walks in my door and I work to meet you right where you are--in what you need, in the quiet space and time, and in the muscle tissue.

When you are looking to alleviate pain and tension or a chronic condition I use fascial counterstrain and therapeutic massage. Counterstrain is a technique that uses a map of tender points on your body to scan and then treat any system that is in a reflexive spasm which then gets to the root cause of tension, pain, and limited range of motion providing lasting relief. Know that fascial counterstrain is done fully clothed and moves between a seated position and lying down throughout the treatment.
