Make Music Vermont brings music makers of all ages and experience together on June 21, the first day of summer — a free celebration of music-making that takes place on the same day in more than 120 countries and 1,000 cities across the globe.
Anyone can take part in Make Music Vermont. All musicians are welcome, regardless of whether they are amateurs, professionals, students, or established artists. Make Music VT is open to artists of all ages, genres, and levels of ability. All day long, anyone lucky enough to be in Vermont can join in to make music or enjoy being surrounded by it. It's the longest day of the year, the best to spend making music!
Volunteer to make *your* Music for the public at the bandstand next to the Courthouse in St. Johnsbury on Tuesday, June 21, from 5 pm to 9 pm. Each artist/band will have a 15 minute slot for their performance, and there will be 5 minutes in between artists for band changeover. Sound equipment will be limited; we'll be providing use of a simple sound system. Slots will be first come, first served. Fill out the form here! https://www.catamountarts.org/community-art-outreach/make-music-day/
Or respond to this post and I'll assist with signing you up.
Just coming to listen to some great music? Bring your lawn chair or picnic blanket, and your appetite- we'll have food vendors!
Event will take place rain or shine.
