Known for their tight harmonies and high-energy instrumentals, Beg, Steal or Borrow has appeared at festivals and venues throughout the northeastern United States. The Vermont-based quintet has won bluegrass festival band competitions at Podunk, Grey Fox, and Thomas Point Beach, hence being dubbed a "Triple Crown Bluegrass Band" by Bluegrass Today.
Beg, Steal or Borrow is Jeremy Sicely on guitar/vocals, Luke Auriemmo on banjo/vocals, Roland Clark on fiddle/vocals, Fran Forim on upright bass/vocals and Geoff Goodhue on mandolin/vocals.
"Beg, Steal or Borrow have managed to absorb their essential influences — Appalachian, folk and country sounds in particular — and refashion them in a way that's so accessible and infectious that the music's all but irresistible." Lee Zimmerman - Bluegrass Today
"The songs that found their way onto the new record are more than mere imitation — they're the genuine article." Dan Bolles - Seven Days Review
"The first CD released by bluegrassers Beg, Steal or Borrow, "Old Mountain Time," could contend for best bluegrass album of 2019, it's that good." Art Edelstein - Times Argus | Rutland Herald Review
