There will be a few new faces at the market this week. We are pleased to announce that Kaila Cummings, a bladesmith of Iron and Oak, a local forge that opened in Brattleboro this past summer, is starting Saturday, January 18th.
Kaila will be offering a knife sharpening service through the market. Interested customers can drop off their knives with Kaila at the market, and return the following week to retrieve their sharpened knives. In addition to the knife sharpening service, Kaila and her husband Justin Taylor will have other items from their forge as well as their own knives showcasing their talents with metals and wood.
The Brattleboro Winter Farmers' Market is located in the gymnasium on the Winston Prouty Campus at 60 Austine Dr. Market hours are 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM every Saturday from November through March.
