About

We work hard to carry on one of Vermont's most longstanding traditions, utilizing our natural resources and working with the seasons to produce pure organic Vermont maple syrup. We're proud to continue our heritage as sugarmakers and stewards of the land and have a deep respect for the wildness and beauty of nature, working with Vermont Organic Farmers, the Vermont Land Trust, and Audubon Vermont to support our wild forest ecosystems. Long days in the sugarbush and late nights in the steam of the sugarhouse are rewarded with sweet golden maple syrup that we can all enjoy year round.

Bourdon Maple Farm will be boiling (weather permitting) and offering free tours and tastings from 10:00am - 5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Come learn how maple syrup is made - from the forest to the sugarhouse - and get a taste of Vermont life.

Gather around a cozy outdoor fire pit with friends and family, taste all four grades of organic maple syrup, and try our famous buttermilk waffles with maple syrup fresh off the evaporator! We'll be scooping maple ice cream from the Mountain Creamery topped with crunchy maple sprinkles.

There will be giveaways and fun prizes from some of our favorite local businesses. Try your hand at Maple Bingo (for kids and kids at heart) and, if you're feeling adventurous, explore our Maple Trail on a self-guided hike up through the sugarbush. Feel free to bring your own snowshoes. We'll have a few extra pairs on hand. Trails will be marked with different routes available following our handy map. Along the way, keep an eye out for hidden tokens to win prizes!

It's our favorite event of the year, and we couldn't be more excited to share Vermont's favorite spring tradition with all of you.
