Part Time Sugarbush Woods Technician/Farm Store Employee

Main Responsibilities:
Tapping, Checking Lines, Wood Maintenance
Sugarhouse/Boiling assistance
Fulfilling and packing online orders
Bottling and packaging of maple products
Assisting with and independently carrying out farm stand customer sales, maple tastings, and farm tours
Assisting in general farm projects ranging from mowing, painting, landscaping, cleaning, light construction, sugarbush work, etc.
Other Details:
Part time position starting early January, three - four plus days/week; slightly flexible with start and end times and overall set schedule).
More hours required towards the sugaring season, foliage, and holiday season. Depending on capacity, this position may be extended through the following spring or year-round.
Must be available during the spring thaws- Sugaring is very weather dependent. Ideal candidates have the capacity to flex schedule to meet the season's demanding hours.
Flexible but generally 9 am – 5 pm workdays, with a half-hour lunch break
Qualifications:
Self-motivated, Outdoorsy, Curious
Has the capacity for physically demanding work in a variety of weather conditions
Can remain focused while working independently outdoors on occasionally monotonous tasks
Is able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Is highly observant and motivated to work with food; has great communication skills and resilience; is comfortable taking specific directions and asking questions; and is dedicated to an inclusive food system
Experience in basic computer skills

read less200 lbs of chicken feed and bedding were delivered to the wrong address on Hitchcock Hill, not sure who it belongs to or where it was supposed to be delivered. Our neighbor found this and asked me to share on Front Porch Forum for him to see if anyone is missing their chicken feed and bedding delivery.
