Dear Friends & Neighbors,
As we enter this holiday season, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support of Everything Nice & The Giving Fridge over the last four years. Together, we've beautified homes, workplaces and vacant storefronts with lovely plants & decor, all while providing nutritious meals to our Addison County neighbors in need - more than 48,000 meals since December 2020! We've made a difference to so many in our community, and I couldn't have done it without you.
As we celebrate our upcoming four-year anniversary, I want to share some updates: Everything Nice will be moving from 51 Main in Middlebury at the end of this year and focusing our efforts on continued business & residential plantscaping & design services. It has been a joy revitalizing 51 Main into a vibrant downtown hub over the last two years and collaborating with Crooked Ladle. By offering various dining and bar incentives to their customers, they have helped us raise nearly $10,000, equivalent to 1,000 meals, for the Giving Fridge—an inspiring reminder of how commerce and mutual aid can beautifully coexist.
Rest assured, Crooked Ladle will continue to serve up delicious meals & drinks at 51 Main, and we aim to keep our collaboration alive through continued tabletop plant sales and plant workshops in support of the Giving Fridge.
As for Giving Fridge, moving forward, we will be focusing our efforts on making medically tailored meals accessible via our automated Giving Fridges.
In alignment with our original mission from four years ago to sell enough plants to be able to gift 200 nutritious prepared holiday meals to families and individuals in our community, we will dedicate the proceeds from our moving sale to support this year's holiday meals initiative.
