Experience a starry night under the Sukkah ( the traditional handwoven harvest hut of the Jewish tradition) with Stonecutter Spirits, the Vermont Astronomy Club and special guests who will explore the inquiry: "In an impermanent world , how do we create purpose, meaning and satisfaction?" Under the full moon, we'll share song, story, drink and stars to discover the deep mystery of why the Jewish tradition has encouraged one week of sleeping, dining and wining under the stars. Comedian and facilitator Jason Lorber will lead this interactive storytelling event followed by candlelit stories by inspiring politicians, professors and special guests. Bonfire and telescopes provide a communal warming humility! Bring a sweet to share, warm clothes and your instruments. $10-15 ( no one turned away due to lack of funds)
This is the opening event for the Sukkot on the Farm Harvest Festival occuring at New Leaf Farm October 15th and 16th
