First UU Meeting House Tours Oct. 15

The “Church” at the top of Church Street in Burlington, Vermont is soon to be 200 years old. It was
constructed during the summer of 1816 and dedicated on January of 1817. This exceptional building
as a sanctuary for the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington has served as a meeting house
for Burlington and the whole state, and has played a significant role as an agency for improving civil liberties and effecting positive social change.

Join us on Saturday for tours of our historic Meeting House!

Guides in period costume
Historic articles, photos, and records on display
Demonstrations of English Country Dance (Saturday 2pm to 3pm)
Outdoor labyrinth available for reflective walking
Refreshments served
