Third Annual Champlain Islands CROP Hunger Walk/Ride. Reminder to come out and help raise funds for hunger relief. Sunday, October 16th beginning at 1pm, Congregational Church of South Hero, 24 South Street. Our goal this year is $5000.00. 25% of monies raised help support the Island Food shelf and the Food For Thought summer lunch program. The remaining funds support worldwide hunger relief projects, providing emergency food and water as well as programs to help people grow food sustainably.
