Title: Rally for a Green Economy for the Green Mountains

What: Please join us for a rally to ensure that the candidates running to represent Addison County understand the importance of bold action to address global warming when the legislature returns to Montpelier in 2017.

On October 18 at 5 pm we will gather by the flagpole outside Middlebury Union High School to show our support for climate action. We want our legislators to know that the stakes are high. Taking action now could mean the difference between our children and grandchildren living in a Vermont that is recognizable, or one that more resembles present-day Tennessee.

On October 16 we will gather at Carol’s Hungry Mind Cafe from 11am-1:30pm to make posters for the rally, write letters to our candidates for office, and generally enjoy one another's company. It is only by sticking together (and having some fun along the way) that we can truly make the change we want to see. We hope to see you there, for the party and the rally.
