Beginner Bodhrán workshop with Reagh Greenleaf Jr.
We'll cover the basics such as history, technique, use in Song and Traditional Irish Music, types of tunes (jigs, reels, etc.), and session etiquette.
$20 pp, cash, check or credit card welcomed.
Bodhráns and tippers will be available for use or bring your own.
Bodran's provided by Recycled Reading of Vermont Books & Instruments and may be purchased at the workshop.

Reagh Greenleaf Jr. got his start in Irish music travelling to Northern Ireland with the late, great Tommy Makem in 2000. Since then Reagh has performed with several bands throughout the northeast, including Tom Lanigan Band and Gypsy Reel.
