Come on a theatrical walk through the wild woods. This is the BORDERLANDS, the land where faeries dwell and magic whispers in the wind. Back again for the 3rd year in a row, The BORDERLANDS has been hugely popular for artists, families and children of all ages.

This hour-long walk will take you past storytellers and musicians, dancers and poets, who weave a wonderful story of Tír Na nóg, the world of everlasting beauty, abundance and joy.

Groups leave with a guide every fifteen minutes. BORDERLANDS is located in Shelburne and will take place in any weather.

BORDERLANDS is brought to you by the teens from Enchantment Camps, a Shelburne summer camp. These teens are in the final year of a four-year adventure called The Way of the Bard. They meet to practice their Bardic skills – poetry, storytelling, fire-spinning, singing and playing music… oh, and walking. In June of 2017, they will travel to Ireland and walk across the countryside in the tradition of the ancient Bards, giving their performance art piece to people in villages along the way.

BORDERLANDS is a major fundraiser for this trip, and appropriately, it involves the Bard students honing their skills. For the audience, it is pure magic. The four performances are October 15th and 16th, and the 22nd and 23rd. Groups leaving every 15 minutes between 2 and 5pm. Tickets ($15 adult/$10 children) for specific times can be found at www.treewild.org.
