There are not words that can express the overwhelming sadness felt by the Moretown community at the loss of five young lives. We grieve together as we struggle to comprehend this senseless tragedy.

The Moretown Selectboard and Moretown School Board would like to encourage community members to attend the candlelight vigil in memory of Cyrus, Mary, Liam, Eli and Janie on Monday, October 10 at the Harwood Union High School soccer field from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Organizers ask that people bring their own candles and to please dress warmly. Carpooling is encouraged.
Harwood Union High School is open on Monday from 10am to 3pm for all students, faculty/staff, families and community members. The school is working with Washington County Mental Health and Northeastern Family Institute to provide support during this difficult time.
