Incredible Incentives Available!

Efficiency Vt., along with the Northern Forest Center, will present the latest information and incentives for Pellet Boilers and Wood Chip Heating for Residential, Municipal, Non-Profit, and Commercial buildings. The presentation will be Wed., Oct. 19th, 7 - 8:30, at the Craftsbury Library, sponsored by the Craftsbury Energy Committee.

Beyond heating with cord wood, wood pellet boilers have emerged as a promising technology for Vermont – with all the convenience of other home heating systems. This workshop will cover how modern wood heating works, the relative cost and savings compared to other fuel sources and systems, and financial incentives available. The workshop will be led by Dave Keefe, Energy Consultant with Efficiency Vermont.

The most recent incentives that Eff. Vt. offers and will be explaining are very enticing. The maximum incentive for residential, commercial and industrial are $60,000, and for public-serving institutions the maximum is $80,000. For more info, go to: http://www.rerc-vt.org/ For even more incentives, the Northern Forest Center will explain their Northeast Kingdom Model Neighborhood Project’s $3,000 incentive available to NEK homeowners for installing a wood pellet boiler. NFC is a non-profit organization working to improve the economic sustainability of the Northern Forest Region. For more info, go to: https://northernforest.org/ Wood pellet boiler distributors will be on-site from 6:30 - 7, and after the presentation to share their information.
