Civil war expert Howard Coffin will give a program on "Vermont and the Civil War," including details about the contributions of Central Vermont soldiers and families. From Cedar Creek to Gettysburg, Vermonters were central to the Union cause -- come learn something new about this fascinating chapter of American history. The event will take place on Monday, October 10th at 7:00 p.m. a the Middlesex Town Hall (corner of Route 2 and Church Street). Free and open to the public. This is a Vermont Humanities Council event sponsored by the Middlesex Historical Society.
