Adults Only Night
Is just a week away.
Safe Words
Will take wing
On October 29th,
Next Tuesday.
We're so excited.
We're all a titter.
Pulses racing
Hearts pounding
Pitter-Patter
Patter-Pitter
Come devour
Poetry together
Tasting every crumb
Til our ears
Are stuffed
And our tongues
Are numb
The evening ending
When our poet hearts
Are fed
With Safe Words, good company
And Laurie's chocolate bread.
