Christian Huebner, Pastor of Brownsville Community Church, grew up in West Windsor, Vt. After pursuing a gift for music from an early age with his first position as organist and choir director at age 11, he completed a double masters in Organ Performance and Choral Conducting. Christian studied with local Organ Master, Harriette Slack Richardson after which he studied under Dr. Judy Congdon and Dr. Jonathan Biggers. Christian studied improvisation with Dr. Gerre Hancock and has been recorded and broadcast by BBC Radio. Rev. Huebner is a composer, scholarship and competition winner in Organ Performance and he has appeared with the Rochester and Binghamton Philharmonics. And, he was the director of the 120 voice Binghamton University Chorus.

Edmund “Skip” Downing, principal of Bywater Piano Tuning, studied at Gordon College, played the Trumpet in the Air Force and presently teaches at the Upper Valley Music Center. He is a sought after trumpet player, performing in local shows and with groups in the area.

Diane Fleck grew up in a musical family where it was common to hear multiple instruments being practiced throughout the house. Though she started playing trumpet in 4th grade, by 6th grade she had switched to the lovely French horn which she has been playing ever since. While attending Dartmouth, she was a member of the wind symphony, marching band, and various brass chamber groups. Since graduating, she continues to delight in playing French horn as a member of the Upper Valley Community Band as well as the Mid Vermont Christian School band.

The last concert of the year will be an Advent Concert and Carol Sing on Sunday, December 18th.

These free-to-the public concerts are organized by the Brownsville Community Church Pastor and Choir Director, Reverend Christian Huebner. The Brownsville Community Church is located on the Brownsville-Hartland Road, between Albert Bridge School and the Brownsville Town Hall.
