As some of you know, my daughter and I attend the Parent & Child Classes at Lake Champlain Waldorf School in Shelburne. We plan to send her to their preschool/kindergarten next year because we love their play and nature-based early childhood program. The school is hosting a Fall Open House on Oct. 22 from 10-noon. If you are considering Pre-k through 8th grade school options for your child or just want to come check out the school, I wanted to extend a warm welcome.

At the open house you will tour the campus with high school students, check out student work, and meet the faculty. Kids can enjoy fall-themed activities, and parents can attend an 11 am presentation on Waldorf education. Explore their playgrounds, fields, and forests that make up the 22-acre nature preserve surrounding the campus.
