The Essex Junction Planning Commission will be meeting on Thursday, October 6th at 6 PM at the Village Offices (2 Lincoln Street, right at the Five Corners).

-The first item on the agenda is called “Audience for Visitors.” This is your chance to discuss an issue or concern that you would like to share with the Commission. If your comments relate to an item scheduled for later on in the meeting, you must hold your comments until that item comes up for discussion.
-The second item is “Additions or Amendments to the Agenda.” At this time, the commission may vote to add additional (very minor) topics/issues to the agenda.
-The third item is “Minutes Review.” The commission will review and potentially change or approve the minutes of their July 25th and August 18th meetings.
-The fourth item is the review and signing of the Village Ethics Policy, and the election of a Chair and Vice-Chair.
-The fifth item is a presentation from the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) about Act 174 and the Regional Energy Plan process. More information about this can be found here: http://www.ccrpcvt.org/our-work/our-plans/regional-energy-plan/.
-The sixth item will be a discussion on potentially establishing a time limit for comments during a public forum.
