Attention Hardwick farmers and veterans: The Hardwick Elementary School and the Center for an Agricultural Economy (CAE) would like to cordially invite you to the school's Harvest Dinner on Thursday, October 13, at 5 p.m. The teachers, staff, and students would love to have the honor of your presence. Parents and community members are invited also. The meal is free of charge, but reservations must be made by Monday, October 10, at noon. The menu will be prepared of vegetables grown by students in the school gardens and will include pickles, cole slaw, corn chowder, kohlrabi salad, biscuits, corn bread, zucchini bread, apple crisp, chocolate chip cookies, kale salad, vegetable soup, and pumpkin seeds. The kindergarten will make centerpieces for the tables. This is the gala event of the year and not to be missed!
