Rokeby Museum's series of programs continues Sunday, October 9 at 3:00 pm, with Duane Merrill's "Up Country Vermont Furniture."

Vermont’s own auctioneer and collector Duane Merrill has probably seen, handled, assessed, and sold more Vermont furniture than anyone. Join us for a stroll through three decades of finds, highs and lows, gems and surprises in the Vermont antiques trade.
Merrill will pay special attention to Nathan Burnell, a mid-nineteenth century cabinetmaker from Milton, Vermont, whose work he has both sold and collected. Duane Merrill & Company has auctioned art and antiques for more than 30 years.
Admission to the program only is $2 – or free with Museum admission. Come early and see Quaker Made: Vermont Furniture, 1820-1835. The exhibit is only on view until October 30.
Rokeby Museum is open daily from 10 to 5. Admission — $10, adults; $9, seniors; $8 students; children younger than 5, free. Guided tours of the house are available Friday through Monday at 11:00 and 2:00. Admission to the exhibit, Free & Safe, is free on Tuesdays from 1 to 5.
