Here's a great excuse to eat at your favorite restaurant! Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont (NOFA Vermont) invites you to 'Share the Harvest' on October 6th. On this date, generous participating restaurants, stores, and co-ops will donate a percentage of their day's sales to benefit the Vermont Farm Share Program which gives limited-income Vermonters access to farm fresh food through subsidized CSA shares. Patronize one of the participating businesses and support your limited income neighbors and Vermont farmers in the process. Please mention to your waiter that you're there to help Share the Harvest!
