The October meeting of the Ward 6 NPA will take place this Thursday Oct. 6th in the Morgan Room in Aiken Hall at Champlain College. The meeting starts at 7:00PM.

We’ll begin with a School Board update from Stephanie Seguino and Miriam Stoll to get their latest on the labor impasse with teachers.

We will hear from Mayor Weinberger on the November ballot items and in a related item hear from members of the Coalition for a Livable City on their perspective on the Burlington Town Center zoning change proposal.

We’ll also get updates on what the City Council has been up to from Councilors Karen Paul and Joan Shannon and the latest from Champlain College and UVM staff on issues that may impact the neighborhood.
