From ones too young to read this message to folks who remember the 50s – all feel the magic of lighted pumpkins in the forest on a fall evening.
The Thirteenth Annual Pumpkin Walk on the Hardwick Trails is Sunday, October 9 at 6:00.
Every Hardwick Elementary student becomes a carver-artist to provide the orange faces that glow in the trees. The walk ends with cider and donuts around the bonfire (where our friendly witch tells stories to eager youngsters and those who want to be beguiled again…) Everyone is invited to share this community event: children, parents, grandparents, friends and all. Come enjoy this celebration of the season that has become a Hardwick tradition!
This free event is sponsored by the Hardwick Trails Committee. Questions? Call Ron and Norma Wiesen at 472-6517.
Park in the Hazen Union parking lot and follow the pumpkin signs.
