The Springfield Art and Historical Society will hold an Open House and Annual Meeting on Saturday, October 15 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at their museum in the Cota & Cota building at 65 Route 106 in North Springfield. The Society’s quilt collection will be on display along with agricultural items. Scientist and author Rebecca Rupp will present “Wolf Peaches, Poisoned Peas, and Madame Pompadour’s Underwear: The Surprising History of Common Garden Vegetables” at 2:00 pm.
