Tuesday, October 4th 5:30, Backyard Composting Conversation with Lamoille Regional Solid Waste Management District at the Lanpher Memorial Library; 141 Main Street, Hyde Park.
How do I compost in the winter? What are the pros and cons of different composters: tumblers, soil savers, homemade out of hay bales? Am I doing it right? Help! I'm afraid of snakes! What about the skunks???
Are you an avid composter? Maybe just curious? This workshop will address your decompostion questions. Master Composters will discuss the science, the do's and don'ts and answer your specific questions. Free kitchen compost collectors for all attendees! One Soil Saver Compost Bin will be raffled off at the event. All who attend will be entered to win. All are welcome! (Don't have to be from Lamoille County...for all of our Lowell neighborhood friends!!!)
Please call the Lanpher Library for more questions: 802-888-4628
