Lamoille County Farm Bureau has members that join for many reasons. Many are not even farmers but local residents that join as members to support farming in Vermont. All members receive their great benefits such as discounts with Suburban Propane, Polaris, Rouses Tires, Grainger, Catepillar, Case, General Motors, Choice Hotels, Nationwide Insurance and more. However, I have seen first-hand the power of Vermont Farm Bureau’s advocacy for farmers. Lamoille County Farm Bureau welcomes all. We represent and support this wonderful group with its rich diversity of farmers engaged in many agricultural businesses including dairy, equine, grain, hay and other crops, maple, foresters, horticulturists, vegetable and berry production, and agri-tourism are just a few of the farm practices that we support in Montpelier. Want to find out more? Join us for our annual county meeting on Monday October 3rd at the Hyde Park VFW for a 6 pm mingle followed by a 6:30 pm dinner ($18) and annual meeting 7:00 pm.
