Get ready for serious family fun at Montpelier’s First Annual Kids’ Cup & Fall Festival. October 1st 10:00 - 2:00 PM, Montpelier High School.

The Festival will offer games such as pumpkin bowling, pumpkin painting, and every student’s dream: a dunk tank where they can soak the principal of Union Elementary School, Mr. Chris Hennessey.

This fun event takes place Saturday, October 1 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Montpelier High School track.

Families can complete a kid-friendly fun run on the bike path, followed by a festival of games, music, and food for the whole community. Games include a mystery prize guessing game, side-by-side tag, freeze dance (with UES music teacher Mrs. Funk playing DJ), obstacle course (with UES gym teachers MJ Jennings and Mr. Williams), a mountain bike course (bring your bike!) sponsored by MAMBA, and a Hula Hut game.

Organized by Union Elementary School Parents’ Group, the event is a fundraiser for the elementary school. Admission to the Fall Festival is free but food and tickets for games will be for sale.

To register for the fun run (suggested donation is $25 per family) or to make a different donation to support this wonderful event, visit https://go.rallyup.com/2016-kidscup No advance registration is required for the Fall Festival.
