1 year anniversary and Gyokuro opening party. Last August we started building the teahut. In October, with most of the work done and only a lovely skylight to view the apple trees remained before we finished the roof, we had a gathering to celebrate the opening of the teahut. To commemorate, we open a fresh package of Gyokuro ( a shade grown Japanese green tea) and share with all of you. After the Gyokuro, we are likely to taste other teas, eat snacks (pick fresh apples from the orchard!) and generally be merry.
