North Hero Historical Society Program
On Friday, September 30th, 2016, Alex Lehning will present a program about the October 19, 1864 raid in St. Albans, VT carried out by Confederate soldiers.” On this date the Civil War entered Vermont” so says the historic marker located in St. Albans. Mr. Lehring is the Executive Director of the St. Albans Museum and is quite knowledgeable about 19th century history in St. Albans. The program is sponsored by the North Hero Historical Society and will be held at the North Hero Community Hall beginning at 7:00PM. Light refreshments will be served.
