The Adirondack Coast stretches across the western shores of Lake Champlain shouldered by New York’s Adirondack Mountains and the Green Mountains of Vermont. Quiet country roads wind through picturesque farmland connecting family owned vineyards and orchards.

Grape growing and wine production on the Adirondack Coast have exploded in the past 10 years. The grapes grown here are hybrids of European grapes and hardy American rootstock that can withstand cold winter temperatures such as: Frontenac, Frontenac Gris, Marquette, Cayuga White, Petite Ami and Louise Swenson. Many of these grapes have been introduced to the world over the last 15 years so they are like nothing you’ve tasted before!

The Adirondack Coast Wine Trail travels 66 miles from Chazy through the heart of historic Plattsburgh to Morrisonville.

You’ll enjoy Pinot Noirs and Rieslings as well as specialty wines such as estate, fruit and honey wines in addition to delicious hard cider. These unique wines embody the character of the Adirondack Coast: rugged and wild yet relaxed with casual warmth. So sit back, slow the pace, sample the wine, drink in the views and leave the driving to us! The following is a tentative schedule. We hope we’ve estimated appropriate times. Sometimes tastings go long or shorter than expected and we want all our guests to enjoy themselves!
