For four decades, the legendary NRBQ has offered up a vibrant, unruly take on everything from power pop to barrel house blues to free jazz and has inspired generations of younger artists to emulate their infectious spontaneity. Peerless as musicians and songwriters, and unforgettable as performers, the band, led by founder and driving force Terry Adams on keyboards & vocals, continues to blow away audiences with their versatility. NRBQ released their latest studio album, the critically-acclaimed Brass Tacks, in the summer of 2014. Said the Los Angeles Times, "Brass Tacks is as accomplished and as spirited an album as the band has ever made.” Rolling Stone raves, " “Brass Tacks contains the fun, zest, humor and flat-out rock that has defined the band since their birth decades ago.”

The band's music is a blend of styles from rockabilly to Beatles-influenced pop to Thelonious Monk-inspried jazz. They have attracted fans as diverse as Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, Keith Richards and Penn and Teller. NRBQ songs have been performed by Bonnie Raitt, Los Lobos, Dave Edmunds and many others. Also, the group served as the unofficial "house band" for The Simpsons for the season 10-12 period.

“…hats off to the NRBQ dynasty.” —Magnet

“Ability to groove like no other band on the planet.” —popmatters

“NRBQ is still liable to play anything. Roaring rockabilly, transcendent pop-rock, roadhouse blues, avant jazz – you name it.” —Minneapolis Tribune
