The Barre Town Republican Committee will hold a public forum and discussion on the upcoming vote on merging the Barre Town and City school districts, pursuant to Act 46. The discussion will be led by Alice Farrell, chair of the Act 46 study committee. The public is invited. The event will be held at the Canadian Club this Saturday, October 1, and will begin with a breakfast at 8:30 ($12 per person), with the meeting itself beginning at 9:00.
