October 1, 2016 1pm :: Heliand Consort presents "Five By Side" **PLEASE NOTE NEW TIME 1pm**
We are thrilled to announce the opening of our 10th Anniversary Season on Saturday, October 1st with a side-by-side collaborative concert at Richmond Free Library combining the professional talents of the Heliand Consort with the aspiring skills of music students from around Chittenden County. The program includes an eclectic collection of musical arrangements from operas and symphonies, ritual music of Kwanzaa, classical woodwind trio music from the British Isles and Celtic flutes, ending with the dynamic jazz favorite "Take Five" performed by students and professionals, side-by-side.
This concert will inspire young and old alike to support one another in our community as we celebrate a night of timeless music to honor Champlain Valley Head Start.
Admission is by donation and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Champlain Valley Head Start, so please tell your friends, and give generously!
