Wheel House Designs Sock-tober sale is this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, bring a non perishable food or personal hygiene product for the local food shelf and get 3 pairs of socks (1 per person please). RocktoberFest is starting off with Copley Hospital's Run for Your Heart, 5K fun run and walk on Lamoille Valley Rail Trail (registration at 9 am at Oxbow Park. Live music and all the fabulous events start at 11 am on Portland Street. Get your scarecrow ready and bring it to the town offices any day this week, fabulous prizes for the winners. CCV's chili cookoff starts at 11 am, get your pots of chili to Moog's Place parking lot by 10! Remember Portland Street will be closed for the day, parking for the event is in the municipal parking lot, Oxbow River Front Park and along the roads. Please seek alternative routes if you will not be attending this fun filled community party.
