In the Cherokee and Buddhist traditions, life does not end with death. And death itself becomes a process toward transformation.
On the 49th day after death, a celebration of the person's life takes place. This celebration is meant to assist the person on her journey from Bardo to transformation, as well as elicit Joy, Love and Beauty in those remaining on this earthly plane to transform our process of loss.
Please join us on October 8th as we celebrate the laughs, the joy, the love of Gail Reichstein Rex with stories, photos, and of course her favorite foods. Event will be downstairs in Burnham Hall, from 4pm to 7pm.
Gail's latest book 'Earth Acupuncture' will be available for sale. All proceeds from the book will go towards Orion's education fund.
