The Lanpher Library and the Morristown Centennial Library are joining forces as the Dynamic Duo to present this event for all ages.
Wear a costume and join us in the 'Bat Cave' for activities, Batman show and tell, pictures with a life sized Batman cut out, giveaways from DC comics...and more!

-Monday, October 3rd, 6:00: An Evening with International Students; Meet students from around the world who are living and going to school in the area for the year. Learn more about where they are from and what they think of Vermont. All ages welcome.
-Tuesday, October 4th 5:30: Backyard Composting with LRSWMD: Are you an avid composter? Maybe just curious? This workshop will address your decomposition questions. Free gifts for all attendees! All who attend will also be entered to win a Soil Saver Compost Bin that night!
-Monday, October 10th, 6:00: Grannie Snow will introduce her newest book in the Silas and Opal series at Night Owl Story Time! "Silas and Opal's Shelter Visit"!
-Saturday, October 15th, 2:00-4:00 p.m. RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY AND 100TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION! On October 15, 1916, the keys to the new Lanpher Memorial Library were turned over to the Town of Hyde Park. Help us celebrate our 100th Anniversary with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for our new Handicapped Accessible parking and door on Church St. at 2:00. Join us for refreshments and a special presentation of community recognition.
-Monday, October 17th, 6:00 Night Owl Story Time: Bats are Beautiful! Junior Naturalist Program.
