VT OPEN STUDIO WEEKEND, Oct 1 & 2. Gail Salzman, Barbara Colgrove, & Carol Crawford – three artists form a neat little Franklin County triangle of creativity, only a few miles from each other. Celebrate our gorgeous autumn — come on up, over, or down to Fairfield, Enosburg & Bakersfield, where all three studios will be open from 10am-5pm on Saturday-Sunday. Vermont Open Studio is an annual event organized by VT Crafts Council. FREE & open to the public.

Gail Salzman Studio (off Rte 36 in Fairfield), offers abstract paintings filled with vibrant layers of color. Carol Crawford Handweaver (off Rte 108 in Bakersfield) has lush hand-woven pieces incorporating movement & complex patterns. Barbara Colgrove Clayworks (east of Chester Arthur Monument in Fairfield/Enosburg) features unique wheel-thrown and slab-built functional pottery for everyday use. Affordable art, prints, or cards for sale in all three studios.
