LEDC and VtSBDC SPONSORING WORKSHOP ON MORE BASIC SELLING SKILLS
Morrisville – “That which gets measured gets done”
Through discussions and group role playing, this workshop will focus on key areas to help achieve superstar sales statues and have more fun in the process. Topics covered will include: ● How to increase sales by measuring each step of the selling process ● How to prospect and present more effectively and efficiently ● How to overcome the fear of closing the sale.
John Mandeville, the Executive Director of the Lamoille Economic Development Corporation, who has more than 40 years of experience in business management, including decades in sales and marketing management positions says, “Successful and cost-effective selling is where the rubber meets the road in any business whether you offer services or physical products. Until a sale is made and money exchanges hands, there is no business, only good intentions.” Come to this workshop and learn how to turn those good intentions into money in the bank.
The workshop presenter is Phil Schuman, principal at the Schuman Group based in Vermont and specializing in sales strategy development and customized training and consulting services. Schuman has over 20 years of business to business sales experience including selling Toshiba copiers in London and Boston and training sales teams for DHL Express in Manhattan.
The workshop will take place on October 19th from 9 am to noon in the Community Room at Green Mountain Technology and Career Center in Hyde Park.
