Common Sense Gun Laws for Burlington Oct. 21

Past event
Oct 21, 2013, 6 PM

I’m writing today to let you know about the Oct.21st City Council meeting when they will be discussing changes to the City Charter by proposing stronger gun laws for Burlington. The 4 measures being proposed are:

No guns in bars
Mandate safe storage
Require permits for Concealed Carry
Enable police to temporarily seize guns after a domestic incident

If the measures are approved, they will be put on the March ballot for a citywide vote. We need Burlington residents to attend and speak in support of these changes. They will make our community and public spaces safer for residents and visitors.

I hope you’ll plan to come.
Oct 21st @6pm.
