All Duxbury residents with an interest in changes to the town’s zoning regulations are encouraged to attend a public workshop at the Duxbury Planning Commission meeting on October 13. This will be an opportunity for Duxbury’s citizens to discuss proposed changes to our zoning that are needed to make it consistent with the 2014 town plan. In particular, we will be talking about proposed changes to setbacks and other rules affecting the village district.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the town garage meeting room. Prior to the meeting, beginning at 4:45, the Planning Commission and our consultants will be conducting a site walk to see what the proposed zoning changes in the village district mean on the ground. Again, Duxbury residents are encouraged to participate in the site walk. We will assemble at the intersection of Main Street and River Road.
